With an exciting lineup of speakers booked and our new host, Maiken Scott of WHYY, leading programming, we’re thrilled to share a bit about this year’s theme and events with you!

This season’s theme is Lightbulb Moments: Leaders changing our city - and the world.

We’re living through a technological revolution, and as humans, we’re facing unprecedented changes. Changes that require us to ask ourselves what our role will be going forward. How do we live, lead, and work during this time? Innovation is what we do in Philadelphia, and it’s alive and well in our city and region.

At the Club, we’ve always gathered to make meaning together; to listen, to talk, to discuss, and to form new connections and friendships. Because one thing is for sure - we are not going to solve some of the most pressing issues of our time by staring at our screens in solitude!

This season, you’ll get to hear from inspiring leaders about the lightbulb moments that changed their thinking, the people who inspire them, the challenges that brought them to the brink of quitting, and how they overcame them. With guests including Dan Weiss, Director and CEO of the Philadelphia Museum of Art; Erika James, Dean of Wharton; former Mayor Michael Nutter; and Ashley Lunkenheimer of the Philadelphia Sisters, this season will be one to remember.
